I think we should have a bet to see how many times Hamiliton's names mentioned by James Allen.

It could be quite difficult to count though..........

agreed - i thought about some sort of software to detect the name but tbh i dont think any machine could cope with the level of 'hamiltons per second' we're likely to encounter

Ideal scenario for Lewis, lapping 8/10ths quicker than Heidfeld and Alonso doesnt seem to be hassling him much either.

You've got to admit that Hamilton is pretty impressive though.

That's funny - I was just thinking that and wondering if they were on different pit strategies

According to the BBC it looks like Alonso has enough for a few more laps than Hamilton, so he really needs to keep lapping a fair amount quicker.

Alonso has to be on a longer 1st stint strategy than Hamilton and Heidfeld

Jon,

He sure is, in a strange way all this press attention dilutes his actual skill (if that makes some sense)

Jenson needs to sort his act out, I can't imagine that Honda are too amused with his performance so to start whinging and moaning on live Tv is not the way that he should be conducting himself, I think he's a little jelous about a certain new driver.........

Brundle said on the grid walk that the gossip was Alonso going 2 laps longer in the first stint, so not exactly hugely different.

Yes, it does make sense - I know what you mean and agree. yes

Stirling Moss seems quite struck on Lewis - you often see him giving him a friendly pat on the shoulder during pit walkabouts, and Stirling has no need for reflected glory as he has his own, so it's probably genuine.
