(lots of flies died), but then ... 
bumped up to the curb at Little Chef leaving scratch under the number plate and I must have hit just where the body is joined to the front splitter creating a perfect thin line at the join where the paint has come out. I guess its hard to spot, but of course when you know its there you can't stop looking at it
