Is there an easy way (adapter?) to fit a std MOMO steering wheel in place of the original Personal one ?

Yep. You need to buy a Boss, remove the old steering wheel and boss and replace it with the new one. You will probably need to use the Momo horn button too.
Try searching for Momo and Boss, I'm sure I posted all the details from when I did mine.

Thought so, have a read of this...

You don't need a whole boss, you can get an adapter to adapt the 6 hole Personal fitting to a 6 hole Momo fitting. Search ebay or contact 'classicsteeringwheels' ebayer (through ebay obviously). The advantage of these is that they bring the wheel about 1/2 inch closer to you which I find takes the driving position from 'excellent' to 'perfect'.

Purchased one of the adapters, arrived next day. The part supplied is not a direct fit with the original boss so I will have to lathe out a recess on the boss side of it to take the lip on the original boss. Still easier and cheaper than replacing the complete boss.

Hmm...that's not good. Admittedly I only bought a spacer (Personal stud pattern) rather than an adapter, but it fitted fine. Hope it works OK then.
