Ash came to PH's some time after I arrived. The guys was pretty much a wirlwind of love and hate when he was posting.
There was a long time I thought that the car was fictitious. I haven't seen him post for ages. He did, of course, the well publised change from one engine builder to the other. And the car was actually seen in bodyshell form at least.
You have to take your hat off to the guy, because even to get it that far the stuff he seems to have gone through would have stopped most.
But after a while of reading his posts you just had to say he was really enthusiastic about everything, and whether the car finally gets built or whether his enthusiasm has now passed onto something else, it doesn't really matter.
Like so many other things in life, its the journey that counts not the destination.
