Hi all,

We'll be arriving in Roscoff from Ireland and was wondering if anyone has driven from this port before, Is it worth going a not so direct route in order to take in the N138?
Thanks..

I went to Brittany after th erace last year and had a good run - if you head down to Carhaix and then across to Rosporden the run across Dol de Bratagne (I think it is) is very scenic on a good road - nice straight forward route. Alternatively, it is a lot further round but you could go up to Caen and across to go down the N138.

IMO the N138 is good if you like spotting all the exotic cars but if you want a good drive without too much attention stick to the quiet backroads.

Get off the ferry, put Le Mans into your sat nav and set the preferences to keep you away from the autoroutes.

No way! Keep to the direct route of Rennes, Laval, Le Mans.
You run less risk of getting clocked! We only came across one mobile speed trap on this route. It was just before Laval.
