Baby seat in the Noble ?

Mike, call me a lentel-munching paranoid munter (go on!) but I wouldn't put a baby in a Noble - apart from no side protection, I fear the vibration and heat may cause all sorts of output and distress! Although, I suppose you could let him/her drive )i have harnesses - is it possible to strap a passenger in and strap the baby to them ?

Re the lap harness (eg: baby air-bag!) - I think that's illegal in the UK.

yes - you are probably right and i might feel a lot more protective about it when it arrives

Definatley not a car for a baby -- noisy, and too much "G" .. Most child seats are too wide for the buckets. Certainly wouldn't take my 15 month old in one.(out of interest - has anybody been seriously injured in a crah in a Noble)
You will need somewhere to put the pram/buggy once "its" a few months old as despite typical male machismo they do get heavy after 30 mins of walking around with them in a harness or in the arms ;-)

Both of my kids were introduced to the Noble from birth and it is a perfectly capable and suitable car for the job providing you don't drive it like you just stole it especially with a new born in. Which I hope would go without saying!
All the child seats we've had fitted without a problem, we currently have a Britax and a Recaro.

Carried my kids (singly) in the noble from 2 years old. You've met them and I think any deficiencies are due to my genetics rather than the g forces involved.
In the mean time use the Noble as your one and only chance for peace! Honestly it's more refreshing to sleep for a night in those seats than it's going to be sleeping in "your" bed when beloved and baby are going full chat!

I have just had a thought - if the baby is born on the due date (Le Mans), then i have an excuse to go there for a party every year !
