Look forward to seeing it too. His book was great - brought a tear to my eye in a few places.

Just finished watching the Flying Scotsman on DVD.

Fantastic film!! For such a presumably small budget, it's extremely well made and the acting is excellent also. The location is a bit strange but good, as its partly set in the town I'm from. Ended up saying been there, been there.....

The man is clearly a very gifted person.

Would highly recommend watching it.

Where are you from then Cannondale? I grew up in Hurlford and moved to Galston when i was 10 untill 18 so spent my childhhood in the "valley"!!

Great film but if you haven't yet then read the book,it is very very inspiring (and tragic also)
