Car (99 500 with 54k on clock ) going in for a 12k service and a stealth cam at the start of July and whilst the plastic is being flashed I thought I might treat the old girl to some new induction pipes etc seeing as mine are a bit cracked and worn.Question is Trackcar Solutions gear or ACT?Which bits are worth having?.Initially looking at K+N Filter /pipe and 90degree bend and thermal insulator.Whose is better per £££ and is there anything else I should be looking at without spending hundreds?

Thanks

I'm using the ACT moulded induction pipe, very impressed. Fits like a glove. I also fitted the heat sleeving to protect from heat from the manifold.

I would echo Clive's comments but would add that Joo of Track Car Solutions has developed some interesting new inlet stuff which helped my car and Mongooses (The AJP Griff) break the 340+ BHP barrier.

See recent topic on Griff section entitled "Inlet Mod's"

Hope this helps

Joos mapped ignition & magicing away of the AFM seems to be a winner - why not just wait & have that done in one fell swoop?
