Lots of LS2 & LS7 applications but is the 350 still usd by GM in anything worthy?

I doubt it, although they still made obviously. Even the low-end truck engines will be Gen IV now.

Oh I thought you were talking about the old skool 350 (like you got in a 60s Camaro or a million Cobra reps). I think the LS1 is actually a 346. After having a quick look it doesn't look like they do a 5.7 in the current line up. Plenty of 5.3s and 6.0s and above. The LS3 is a 5.3 and is fitted transversely and drives the front wheels of the Chevy Impala SS (weird!)

Rodders wont use the LS1 because its fuel injected, although there are companys which will pop a carby on.

You can get a crate motor 350 for 1100 pounds, silly money.

Bet its in some new motor somewhere in the world. (China?)

Hehe, you can hand-on-heart tell someone that your engine is green.

I don't think i'd go for that exact finish, possibly just chrome or anodised red.
