dead electrics

Took part in a track day on Saturday, all went well, except for the 360 spin. However the following day the chims electrics were totally dead, even the clock stopped. Jump started the car all seemed fine, returned today to find electrics dead again. Any clues as to whats happening? battery is only 15 months old so I would be suprised if thats the problem.
Battery flat, so recharged it and it holds the charge when out of the car. terminals were fine.
I did notice that the fog lights were switched on but not lit as other lights were turned off, could this discharge the battery over night.
What is it that could discharge the the battery without any visible signs of anything being left switched on ?
