What's this socket for ??

And would it explain why my intermittent wipers don't work - is this where the relay goes ??
Its on my passenger side with all the other fusebox spaghetti.

Many of the S's had the wiper arm for intermittant wipers but not the wiring, they were built that way. mine included.

I wouldnt know what thats for, i have several blank sockets & fuses under the passenger side dash.

Ask yourself, do you really need it ? is it worth running the wires for it ?

According to Steve Heaths manual S1/S2 was hit and miss whether it was fitted or not, but S3/S4 and V8S did have intermittent wipe. Maybe.
