Camera purchase advice please

[blot]

Hi all,

Am looking to purchase a digital camera, it's use is work related, budget is maximum £200 inc vat.

It will mainly be used indoors for capturing images of people attending conferences or for simple portrait shots, all images would be for use on a website and in e-bulletin publications.

Could anyone recommend a minimum spec I should be looking at please?

Cheers

For indoor shots you'll probably want something with a wide-angle lens. Unfortunately I'm not too up to date with P&S cameras and can't be of much more use...

Thanks for the suggestions
