Decent make, should be okay. Personally I'd get four 1gb or two 2gb's though - that way if (when) it corrupts you don't loose everything. Flash memory has a finite life and will fail eventually.

Also check your camera can use a card that big. Oh, and it's not THAT quick (I think - I use SD). If you have a pro spec DSLR you may want something quicker.

Really good card & price. I use the 2Gb version of those. Write speeds is good & they have ben reliable.

No cause for complaints at all - I'm going to get a couple of those at that price...

I have 8 X 1GB versions of those and going to upgrade to 2gb after changing camera, great cards and the pro range carries limited lifetime warranty, which I have used twice with great service from Lexar (unlike the service from another make beginning with S******!)

Good to hear they have great customer service, but if the cards are so good why have you had to use it twice?

Over 5 years and approx 100,000 images I think thats not a bad ratio. I would point out that the failures were 3 years ago and on an old 256mb & 512mb 24x cards, both pro series and as they were no longer produced the replacements were faster cards.

Am using 2s at the moment...changing cards far too often.

I have a 1DMarkIIN...I think it'll be OK wink (I bought a cheap 8Gig that takes 770 RAW images that works fine) My camera takes 1XCF card and 1XSD card...I can't notice any difference.

Martin.

I got one of these last week from www.svp.co.uk because the postage was a £1 cheaper redface and have been using it my 1D MKIII over the weekend and it certainly doesn't appear any slower than the Extreme III 4gb cards I haveclap

I remember back in the day paying $110 per 1gb lexar pro CF card, and that was a good deal.
