well the payout for my bike is looming ever closer now, although them trying to wriggle out of the storage charges is definatly not on, if they think im paying them then thier very much mistaken.
but anyway, ive decided im going to go back to a 600 for a bit, no not because a 1000 scared me, far from it in fact i loved my Fireblade it was brilliant, but i fancy doing a few trackdays etc over the summer and i really really enjoy riding a 600 through twisty roads, the way you can get on the power is great smile, so really what do you think the best 600 to go for is?, im a bit tempted by the 675, i could wait until the 848 is released next year but really and truthfully i want another 600RR, i was very impressed on my test ride, its tiny yet comfortable, and amazingly light with surprising power and midrange for a 600, but am i missing anything with the rest of the Japanese competition?.

You'll need to find slightly softer hedges.

I thought with the extra weight I'd just go straight through, and rejoin the road further on?

i do like the new R6 but they will be updating it next year, ive ridden the new 600RR and it was brilliant, but havent ridden the new R6,from what ive heard though the RR is the best of the 600s this year the same the R6 was last year, i do like the GSXR 750(especially in black) but theres just something about the RR that really appeals, i think its the size and weight-its absolutly tiny!, plus i want to do a few track days on what i get so am happy to get a 600 and keep it until its say 2 then go back up to a 1000 again, i actually enjoy swapping between the 2 classes smile

And besides, this obsession with weight is misplaced on road bikes IMO. Try blagging a ride on something heavy and see the difference in confidence on crappy roads (slower turn-in not withstanding)

You have to try the new honda 600rr - i have just gone from a k5 gsxr 1000 and i'm loving it. Suprisingly i'm not missing the 1000 purely for the amusement of playing with 1000's and 750's on what is a 'little' bike.
