Does anyone know where you can buy coloured (black in my case) indicator repeaters for a 993?

Type911 used to have them but they no longer have stock and reckon that they aren't available any longer.

Another thumbup for Aceparts.com.

(Although I've had mine sitting around for months and haven't got around to looking how you remove the OEM side repeaters and replace them with the clear replacement ones..... Doh.)

Very simple - they literally just prise out with a bit of care - then just unplug, plug new ones in, and clip back in - barely a minute's work!

But the car's black so I thought black repeaters would be less obvious.

The Americans often do side indicator delete - i.e. get rid of them completely, nicely unclutters the looks though not sure if that's illegal here.

Clear square sides for me - keeps the look of the car but removes the orange that dates it a bit.

I went for clear squares as well. And replacing them is very easy, it took just a couple of minutes each side. Mine came from Design911, but I can't remember if they sold coloured side lenses.

I have the oval silver side repeaters from Ace Parts, on a midnight blue 993 - highly recommended.

Small in this pic, but shows the overall look:

I also have the brake cooling ducts and spots - that makes a difference to the look as well. And to the braking of course ...
