great link but wasn't a drift (referring to last scene for the Gallardo?). Just a powerslide. The AM and 911 sideways action, OTOH, was defo driftin.

The way that speedo needle swept from 150 to 280kmh in the Veyron is truly staggering. Had to watch those 5 (or 6?) seconds several times just to take it in.

Probably because both Quattro and Gallardo have 5 cylinders per exhaust manifold.

Gallardo might make a decent rally car ... 4wd, mid-engined, 500+bhp ...

Remember an R8 is a quick car but not supercar quick in a straight line, it uses the RS4 engine, so 0-100 is about 11 secs for example, about the same as a 997 C2

It will be supercar quick when they drop the V10 into it mind.
