Have parked my car on the drive now for the past 3 days. The drive is sloped downwards a little. So I have been parking backwards so the front is raised.
I have now noticed that I have a little oil leek on the driver side bank of the engine bay.
Only had the car 4 days now and I was unsure if this was normal?
Suggetions?
Thanks all

Hi

Mine does this all the time, I think there is an oil trap under the air intake thing. I know a lot of people have said that they have the same problem.

Yes, its the breather, sometimes gets blocked or comes loose. Easy fix!

How?? And please take in to consideration that you are talking to a man who knows nothing about the dirty goings on under the bonnet!!!

Virtually impossible to stop, try and tighten things up to minimise it or do what we all do and wipe it every day. Really needs a catch tank.

Yes, mine did this but stopped it by sealing it with araldite. Don't leak anymore!

I have tightened up the clip and gave her a wipe dry before taking her for a spin. Seem that has done the trick! Thanks for all your suggestions.

I get butterflies when I drive home from work, get to the bottom of our road, turn the corner and shes there on the drive! I'm madly in LURV!
