I have a twin room booked in a hotel at the Nurburgring this weekend and cannot go so am looking to see if any other PH'ers were thinking about going and could be pursuaded!

It's a twin room booked for Fri, Sat and Sunday night and is 52euro's per person per night.

Basically you & a mate would need to jump in a car, leave Friday after work, grabbing a ferry / tunnel over (normally about 60 to 125 depending on the wind direction, etc...!), drive down to Nurburg (about 4 hours) and enjoy some Pistonheads-style drinking company. Saturday the ring is open all day (about £10 per lap - buy from the machine there) and Sunday is the same. Then enjoy copious amounts of beers on Sunday before heading back in a leisurely fashion on Monday.

This is one of only 7 "full" weekends the Ring is open this year and is difficult to get accomodation this weekend as there is a major race on at the nearby F1 track (not that they won't charge me for not being there!). Ie. if you've never been and want to go, this, being Bank Hol) is the best weekend of the year.

Please give me a call 07980 848 352 or mail my profile.

Cheers,

Ben
