I have been working with Tom from Paintshield and now have the only Sagaris with full frontal paint protection. No more line across the bonnet were the film finishes and the stone chips start, this film covers the whole front in one piece. The pictures below show phase 1 on thursday phase 2 will be applied. This will cover the whole of the front of the Sagaris including the wings.

See pictures of Phase 1,

OK, so the burning question is how much did this little lot set you back. I have paintshield only on the quarter panels behind the front wheels butm having just had a complete front end respray I'm tempted to go the whole hog.

Kev,

The wheels are sourecd from Vogue international in Leicester, they are called Jordan. They supply Tvr power and did supply TVR, they are made by Rimstock, think Vogue have the licence on the wheel design. I have a set in 19", but didn't like them in silver against my Yellow Saggy, so i am currently trying to fins someone who will re-powder coat in the same shade of anthracite as the spiders. I do like the spiders though?

Vogue are on 0116 257 0777

Hi Dave, Looks fantastic, invisible even!! If only i had gone to paint shield instead of ar******nd, The area covered is no where near enough on mine. The excuse the fitters used was "Sorry it don't come in any wider", Utter piffle i thought!!
Yours looks like its had a full respray..has it??
By the way,Fantastic looking wheels, far better than Anthashite(IMHO).

I am working with Paintshield on the final design of which they will then take patterns to be able to offer it to others. I am told the full kit to cover the whole bonnet will be around the £1000 mark. Which is good value when compared with other kits which stop half way up the front edge and dont cover the bonnet.

Dave ive noticed that your car seems to have rubber strips between the bonnet(s) where as mine doesnt. Was this an earlier design or is it something youve had done.

PS did you have a front respray before the paintshield as it looks like theres no stone chips on the front

Nick,

The rubber seal around the bonnet on the Saggy was an early idea and i believe was removed as a retro fit / unfit by dealers. My 05 car had it fitted originally and has been removed.

So did you have the half kit on before, or were you running unprotected ? I have the unsightly VPL (visible plastic line) half way up my nose - spare me the jokes - but thought it might remove the paint if stripped off. Would be interested to know if others have had Armourfend removed and was there any impact to what lies beneath.

My only experience of removal came when petrol got under the bit they put round the filler on my T350. The plastic got discoloured so I pulled it off with no visible damage, but would be a little nervous about doing the same to the big slab on the front end of the Sag.
