any idea which the uk 'premium' brake package uses?

been looking at ebc list various ones

DP21162

DP21014

DP21505

basically around £70

after the standard spec not upgraded as i dont do track days - need the everyday cold brake bite and dont want to run the risk of goosed discs due to too hard a compound ;-)

or can someone suggest any alternatives at a similar price bracket?

need them quite quickly as i've just been cleaning the calipers and noticed a lack of material!

I have those pads fitted and although they are excellent when warm some may find them unnerving.

Now that they are fully and correctly beddded in they are a tool but they still feels like Morris Minor brakes when you use them for the first time yes

I am still undecided as to whether I may swap back to the originals. Also I saw standard Greenstuff pads for Holdens on ebay.au going with shipping here for under £50. Holden has strong bonds with EBC.

I used to have green stuff pads on my HSV GTS when I bought it, they left a deposit in the drilled holes so I changed them. I then ran with EBC red stuff pads, which were good depending on the batch you, got they did make noise under light braking.

the drill holes on mine clog up on a regular basis - eay enough to sort with the wheel off and a small screwdriver.

just gone for some standard hsv o/e - only £75 plus vat from mark @ rapid gb.

if they last half as long as the last set i'll be happy! (about 20k i recon)

pretty amazed how the discs hold up - hardly any wear at all
