Anybody recommend a good, honest and sensibly priced bodyshop to replace the front end of an insurance cat D write off?

Just had mine done, mine was a cat c quite bad, at Askew Motor Bodies and to say he has done a good job is a vast understatement. IT IS AWSOME you just cant tell. I have loads of pictures that i took whilst it was getting done as well if you want to see them. He was good on price to. To save you a bit of money there was a front end advertised as a BUY IT NOW for £250 on eBay (item number 280098330428). I paid £1000, ouch!!! You can call Dan at Askew Motor Bodies on 07719022430. Cheers Simon.

Askew Motor Bodies is in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, ooop norf!!

Call Dan on 07719022430 for quotes etc. He is VERY VERY GOOD at his job, spent years creating one off limos, custom rods etc.

He has done a stunning job on my TVR and i will put some pics on when it is all done.

I'm in Sussex but the repairer can be anywhere in the UK because it will be delivered FOC by the insurer.

From other sources I have had more than one strong recomendation for a guy called Julian at Fibreon in the Midlands. Anybody had work done by him?

Many of us sport bits of Julians handywork without even knowing it. Most light conversions are his mouldings I believe. Cynical as I am I reckon he is one of the noteworthys when it comes to grafting ~ apart from the fact he also makes up the front ends which are quite likely to be sourced for your repair. Thouroughly nice chap into the bargain as well BTW wink
