Need to source a rear windscreen for T30
Discussion
Have you tried David Gerald they do all the window screen replacement for TVR's so they could possibly help.
Usual reason for everyone getting p***** off. It is about time that Mr Smolenski esq and the rest of the 'brand' buyers sorted this pathetic parts situation out.
By the time that its running again if ever no-one will want a TVR anyway.
Who the hell is going to go and buy a £30- 50K car that you cant even get bits for.
Im angry at the whole mess!

David Gerald say they don't exist (but they do the front windscreens). Dom from TVR power says they are 'rocking horse muck' which seems to be the general consensus.
If TVR Power now own the rights (and presumably the supplier contracts etc) to all the parts why can they not source a new rear screen from whoever supplied them to the factory in the first place ??Bell Hill is your best bet I believe they have a few Sags and I think the rear screens are identical, maybe someone one can confirm ?
Good Luck

Bell Hill said they don't have one and they gave the impression that I was not the only person after one. Hmm.
The idea of all these TVRs sitting around worthless because there are no rear windscreens would be quite funny if I owned, say, a porsche.

Not good news - sorry to hear this. Three choices then:The idea of all these TVRs sitting around worthless because there are no rear windscreens would be quite funny if I owned, say, a porsche.

- Wait for TVR Power or someone else to officially have a replacement batch made up
- Have one custom made
- Do a bit of ambulance chasing - get your name out there that you're looking with all the garages/indies - there are a few T350s and Sagaris' falling off the road now and then and being written off. Not nice I know, but we all need to think of it like being blood donors - giving to the needy when we're done with it.
Edited to add option 4:
- Is it time for the first T350 converitble?

Sorry to hear this - I assume you've tried all the breakers such as Bell Hill Garage?

Guy's,
Don't know if this is of any use, but remembered reading an article a while ago about a specialist glass manufacturer.
Anyway - dug around and found it.
They made the side screens for the Mclaren F1 and the windscreens for the Porsche 962 CR road car - so thay may be able to sort a rear screen for the T350/Sag etc.

Sorry to butt in but a shameless plug here,
we can re-manufacture glass from a pattern taken from an original, min quantities apply (usually 10) we can be contacted from our webpage www.taraglass.com. Ideal for those group buys of impossible pieces. we can do laminated and also toughened to E standards.

The side and rear glasses for all recent TVRs including the Tamora and T350 were manufactured in Spain by a company called Vidur. All UK orders and deliveries for the factory are handled by an agent in the Midlands who dealt directly with TVR in the past.
The original CAD files, drawings or physical patterns for the T350 rear window were supplied by TVR to the factory. TVR would also have paid for the costs to cover tooling for the heating element and black ceramic band around the edge of the glass. All of this will still be available at the factory.
The rights to all of this design and tooling, as I understand, have now passed to TVR Power and nobody else would be able to order these parts.
The simplest way forward is for TVR Power to place an order on the UK agent for a small quantity of glasses. From our experience of dealing with the factory through the agent, this can be as little as six pieces.
Because of the way that this particular glass is manufactured, the lead time could be as much as twelve weeks from receipt of order.
Remanufacture, rather than reordering with the original supplier, is a possibility but seems pointless when everything is still available at the original factory. To remanufacture, either a sample glass would be required or you would have to start from scratch again with drawings or physical patterns.

Hmm this makes me wonder if TVR power hold the spares rites, why then did they not offer to source a rear screen, even if it meant a min order for production ?
