So spider alloys may look cool but they're complete rubbish unless the roads where you live are made from sponge.

I'm considering alternatives. The only other one I've come across is the SP12 (in anthracite) from Silverstone Performance (http://www.silverstoneperformance.biz/). They're cheaper, lighter and stronger so the final factor is how they look... I'm not convinced.

Are there any other after market alloys I could look at?

Looks-wise TVR Power do some wicked rims. I think they're actually 'Niche' wheels - a model called 'Rhine'. I'm not sure they're lighter or not though.

Edited to say: Look at the 'full protection' thread - you'll see the wheels I mean

The wheels in the paint protection thread are Jordans, supplied by Vogue International and now sold by TVR power. They are the wheel TVR were offering on the 2006 / 07 model saggy. I have a set in 19" just in process of getting them powder coated in Anchracite, the silver didn't suit the yellow on my car.
