My slave cylinder went stopping at the traffic lights a few weeks ago so I took the car back to the dealer to have it repaired. They said that it had contaminated the clutch which needed to be replaced as well. Is this usual? or even possible?
I don't know, I don't think it did mine but if your car is running on the original clutch it has a life expectancy of 18-20k so it may be best to replace now and save an extra set of labour costs in the future?
