Hi

I'm getting one of these fitted to my 2006 CV8 by Monkfish, without the header modification. What difference can I expect in terms of performance and noise? The standard system is too quiet IMHO, will there be a significant difference without the headers?

Oh, you'll love it the noise is awesome especially in 'loud' mode. The performance increase is nice too but to be honest I don't really drag scoobies much so the extra .5 sec to 60 isn't noticed that often and you do get used to it soo fast that after a week or two you'll forget the performance boost and just revel in that V8 growl every time you drive.

Just put a performance pack on my 05 6l VXR the noise is great you will love it. I also very highly recommend the ripshift.

the headers are good for a good few extra ponies but you'll notice the noise more!

Didn't notice any real difference in performance, but difference in noise is awseome. Now sounds like the car always should have!

Mine's going in in a few weeks for the same (6.0 VXR) but with the ripshifter - after playing with one, I have to have it!
