Just had a phone call from me mate..the nutter, hes a bigger one than me when it comes to cars has decided he does`nt want a GT2 he wants a fooking 959....I have only ever seen one - ever..

His father is a bit off a car collector also and reckons (maybe boolshit) that he can get one for just short off £100 grand - LHD of course.....

Me mate does`nt post on here but keeps up with the treads.....i am trying to make him get this oot off his daft nothern heed ASAP....

Is he mad or does he have a point -----or would t be a little bit too far

Here you go: http://www.pistonheads.com/porsche/default.asp?sto...

I think you'd be absolutely certifiable to buy one to actually drive (ie semi-regularly) - the running costs would be astronomical.

If you are buying for a collection then why not? Flemke on here has one.

to start with... they're all LHD...

I suspect a 959 for £100K would be a challenge...

Looking at the market I think he's 30% short on his budget

No problem Jason...I will keep it correct from now on then. In fact I have an A level in English Lit and English Studies..but thats another story and was a few years back.

Nice to see Northern lads on the forum once more, as a northern `daft` lad I just cant help it when it just comes ooooot !!

Don`t` agree with my mates choice either and I have just had a quick look on the old internet....cheapest 959 at £125,000 bloody nutter (and thats coming from me!!)

But hes done this before when he said he was going down to london to buy a gt2 and came back with a tart and a £3000 hotel bill

GEORDIES EH !!!
