996 damper upgrade

A friend of mine has recently traded in his 996 GT3 for a 996 Carrera 2 for various reasons. He intends to do a few trackdays and would like to upgrade the suspension accordingly but remembering that he does most of his miles on road and this is his everyday car.

I've done a quick search but I can't seem to find a specific topic on this subject. How about Nitrons, has anybody here used these on a Porsche?

Could I get some feedback from people who've gone down the route of a suspension upgrade and the mods you've had performed please.

Also he will be replacing the discs with new standard items and is looking for a pad upgrade. Any recommendations? I generally rate Ferodo DS2500 compound quite highly.

I have no info that would help your friend , but would really like to know his reasons for going from GT3 to cooking?

Was it too compromised for road use in his opinion?

He got a very good deal on the cooking model and needed the cash for other ventures.

Would the GT3 suspension be a good upgrade? Is it transferable?
