...you are an old dear driving your Hyundai down a narrow dark country lane, main beams on and its peeing down with rain.

You approach a bend and see the high beam of an on-coming car, a TVR Cerbera! You kill your main beam but...the Cerbera driver instead of switching his high beam off, sound his horn mad

In my defense, it was my first trip in the car at night and in the pouring rain. Doh redface Gotta get used to those switches.punch

Poor thing, could see she covered her eyes with her arm frown

I've lost count of the number of times (ts's probably 3)that another TVR has come towards me and flashed his lights, and all I've done is sound my horn !
It's even worse when your driving round Tesco park, wheel on full lock and a car starts backing out into your path. all you want to do is blast your horn and what happens ! - Where the feck is the horn button !! Washers, wipers, main beam - ahh there it is, the Horn smile

Maybe a problem getting the size because it is backlit. How about something that glows like a watch face? It could be as small as you like then. Anyone know if these exist?

There was an Old thread about buttons because the symbols wear out. I cannot remember for the life of me when it was, but I didn't think to book mark it frown The buttons looked lovely, but I don't know if they were backlit.

You can definitely get glow in the dark paint (kids toy shop ?), so perhaps a few stencils are all thats needed ?

Good thinking as a backup ! ideathumbup

Sadly the buttons you mention are not back lit as a I got a set for mine.

Lovely finish though.

It's not that you need to see the buttons, in the heat of the moment I dont want to have to look at my buttons to see which one is which, it's more important to be able to [i]feel[i] the difference. A tiny tiny blob of araldite on the horn button works, you can't see it, but your thumb feels the difference straight away (thats why blind people use braile) smile
