Weight Tasmin

It occured to me that in the UK the weight of a Tasmin 1065 kg is, while on our papers the weight 1125 kg is. What makes the differance?

The literature for the Tasmin that I have a copy of avoids mentioning the weight. I think it was only a couple of hundred pounds (100Kg or so) lighter than a Grananda so they kept quiet.
Maybe 1065 is what TVR claimed and 1125 is what someone measured... even the difference between full and empty fuel tanks is significant.

well my tasmin which is stripped right out but does have a full cage added is 1046.. how i get down to the 1000 limit i've no idea, as my replacement bonet weighs about as much as a gnats tadger as it is. i suppose ther is a bit in the boot lid and the very heavy rear bumper with built in skirt..
