Just a quick plug: if you have a darker finished vehicle and are at a loss as to a solution for the erradication of clumbsily inflicted, minor scratch and/or swirlmarks - maybe just those only visible during the merciless exposure bourne of a low level, early evening summer sunset - allow me to recommend www.elitedetailing.co.uk
Although in great demand I can vouch for the insane, indeed near anal grade of attention to detail served up here which ultimately delivered an outcome that was and remains by far the best result any valetting service at any price has delivered to me.
We're talking a 2 day process which morphed into 3, one involving the employment of floodlights akin to those from the stage of the movie, Capricorn One and an obsession which included the removal of grime from the recesses of the bonnet mounted jet nozzles with cocktail sticks.
In the final analysis, the clincher for me was the orb test whereby you see if a direct reflection of the sun includes those hated, radiating circles of swirl: it didn't and all I saw was a perfectly defined, glowing entity. Oh, the joy...
The only problem is by the end, you will require some form of static, air purifying Carcoon.

I was considering getting Gurcharn round to do my car too.
Can I ask what level of detailing you went for? And what you paid for the service?
I have also got a few minor scratches and wondered if he would get them out as part of one of the detailing sessions. Thanks for answering that question.
