Wet drive and power steering

Just drove back from work earlier this evening though various bits of standing water, and on a number of occasions the power sterring belt was obviously slipping and the steering effort went up massively.

Are there any good fixes for this, for example fitting a splash guard over the crank pulley?

Not that it happens often, mind....

I get it now - I was also driving with the roof up. And I live in a village.
Does that make me the "only gay on the village"?

You could allways change all the pullies and belts to multi V. maybe a bit over kill. be nice with some nice ali pullies.

Well the charger has a toothed belt - that didn't slip one bit, I still had 320bhp on tap all the way through the puddles!

Good job I got new rear tyres on....
