Popped over to the local kwak and suzuki dealer Colin Collins and it seems to have closed down - Looked about on the interweb and it seems the whole chain of them may have gone down - they had quite a few shops didn't they ?? Harrow, Watford, Letchworth etc Anyone got the inside info?

When I went over a couple of weeks ago there was a sign up saying they were refurbishing the place ?????

Congrats again Ollie - you coming over on Sunday for a BBQ?

Oh, and don't forget the chap in Barkway who named his son Wayne King - I kid you not, it is true biggrin

Hello mate - thanks!

Yeah i think we'll try and pop down - sorry i didn't get back to you as it's been a bit busy as we only got back wednesday night. smile

That's quite suprising about Colin Collins - they must have flogged/auctioned off all the stock at the end then???

Or do manufacturers do the bikes on sale-or-return?

Many years ago I was sitting in The Blackbird pub in Ponteland with a few mates. It was a quiet monday evening. The door opened and suddenly the barmaid shouted out "Mike Hunt".
We all looked up and very red faced she blurted that his name honest,,, I haven't seen him for ages....

Harrow was still open last Saturday, clearing stock. I went in a couple of weekends ago looking to replace my Givi top box. Apart from being cash only (no signs up saying that) and the prices being discounted by maybe 5-10% off list (easily beaten on the 'net) the unpleasant and arrogant attitude of the staff that I remember from getting my old Trophy services there was still present - worse if anything.

Don't bother, no deals to be had.
