Was looking for a point in the right direction for getting insurance on a T350 which i am looking to buy (not found a car just yet)

Any companies which are particularly good or bad (pm or email the bad ones as usual)!

Is it best to get the daily driver on the same policy as the TVR or two separate ones? Am i right in thinking 2 policies means my no claims discount (10 years) can only be applied to one policy?

Thanks in advance

No advantage to having them both with the same company, except that some companied will match your no claims for a second car.
Having said that, a lot of the specialist companies will give you a good introductry discount if this is the first time you have had a second car hence no NCD for it.

If the TIV is not your Daily driver try Hagerty Insurance www.hagertyinsurance.co.uk which is a 'classic car insurance'.
It means you cannot use the TIV for driving to work etc and it must be garaged.
It was the cheapest I could find for my Chim, 5000 miles p.a. and £17000 agreed value for £281.40 per annum

Halved my premium using them. Excellent result.

I've just switched to Hagerty too. Premiums are solely based on agreed value and miles/yr. These are "Classic" policies so no NCD. You can still use it for getting to work etc as long as that is not your usual means and you have a daily driver for that. I believe it also covers track days, rallys, club events and 90 days Euro cover. Knocked a third off my quote from Classicline.

I use Privilege and found them to be much cheaper than its sister companies. Even A-plan couldn't match them.

A Mannings were best for me. 01491 578759

Mine is on an unlimited mileage policy as its my everyday car most of the time - Mannings do restricted mileage policys too though.

If it will be a limited mileage, then the aforementioned company worth a look too.

I used A-Plan (as advertised on PH) and they were brilliant. All of my cars are now insured through them - significantly less expensive than anywhere else I called.

Wait until they've quoted you and then mention PH, it'll get you an extra 5%.

I've just insured my S3 with Hagerty. They halved the premium of what other comapnies were quoting. Your car doesn't have to be garaged either as mine is parked on my drive at the moment and they were quite happy with that. Have to take photos mind you of your car in it's normal location ie garage or driveway for insurance value purposes.
