How is Lapis Blue considered by the market on a 996?

I'm not even sure I ever saw one, but from the pictures this owner is sending me, it appears flashy at times, and dark (dull?) at others. Keeping in mind that it's a matter of taste, how is it considered by the community?

It's a lovely colour, so deep there's nothing like it, however wrong wax/dirty/rainy conditions it can look dull.Kay
Here's some pictures of my old C4S in Lapis! Would I have the colour again, yes in a heart beat!

My first 997 was Lapis Blue - stunning colour and I really miss it (also quite rare).
However, be warned that its a nightmare to keep clean and all dirt, etc shows up - hope you like washing cars..!
Definitely a rare colour on a 997, certainly beats all those Arctic Silvers However, be warned that its a nightmare to keep clean and all dirt, etc shows up - hope you like washing cars..!

I have a Lapis 996TT and IMHO it is the best colour as it is really deep, and understated when comparing to the black and silver cars.
Rgds, Brin
Have been looking for a good lapis TT for an age, Brin got to his just ahead of me (I'd already enquired and been offered a deal but hesitated a little and lost it), just a great colour for the car. My current 02 targa is in lapis, which I'm selling to go towards the TT its in the classifieds somewhere, and I just love the look. Not the easiest to keep clean but nothing like as bad as black (like wifeys car!) and boy does it look great when its shiney.Rgds, Brin
