waxoiling the car

Looking under the car there is next to no protection at all. The lads at LSV have said they've seen cars a few years old with rust underneath.
What is the best way to seal the car? Is it best to remove the exhaust and spray it or should i just take the time and paint it on?
I agree, my garage has a two post lift in it, and putting her up in the air to have a look at the undersides I was shocked not to see any protection. These are tomorrows rust buckets !! I did intend to hang on to the car, but seeing this I think I will sell just as the warranty runs out. What is the best way to seal the car? I think therefore that anyone wanting to hang on to their P&J a good spray of waxoil inside the box sections is a must. The paint on the box sections might have been zinc coated and over painted in primer, but who knows with out scratching it with a screwdriver ? (don't want to do that).
Interested to hear from someone in the trade on this.
