Hi Russ

I remember chatting to you about an aero scoop that would work for the Can-Am. Looks like something from the "Wacky Races", I love it. It was handy getting that spare rear clip then! I wish I had bought it now.

Hi Dave, I tend to keep the hood on the car, its over the rollover bar and tucked in behind the seats, so the new scoop sits just above the rollover bar to get some air in the rear, should have been a bit quicker mate biggrin. As it happens it was from my car originally.

Hi Russ

I remember Clive telling me it was from your car! You'll have to let me come over and have a look at your handywork. I'm repairing some bodywork damage on mine at the moment.

Russ, they are some very interesting mods that you have affected on your spare clip there, can we see a picture of the front clip to get an overall feel?

I am flattered Russ thumbup Don't know if I will be here or at Spa come open day time, hopefully it will work out.
I think the diffuser looks really good and can't believe it hasn't been done already, not to keen on that hood scoop and wing on the rear clip ( serves you right for not liking my red and blue pylons when you first saw the car at Clives tongue outwinkhehe ) but it may well look different once it is in paint. Congratulations on trying something different, sort of makes it your own doesn't it yes

What are you doing to my car????

Only kidding, being hounest I'm very sceptical about the rear lip spoiler, but I have a feeling the photo angle isn't that flattering, does it mean your not having a wing on the car now?

Raising the scoop is a really good idea as the scoop on the canam is a complete waste of time. Getting it to look right will be a challenge but I think a larger version of the one on Waynes car could work (looks wise) and I get the feeling you've modeled it on that anyhow.

I am defiantelly eagerly awaiting more pictures.

Don't worry Andy, the beauty of the spare front and rear clips, are that I can interchange them, so the car can be returned to its original state, when the lease runs out, and the rear air intake was bought over a year ago, it was originally three times the size, I cut 9 inches out of the middle and re joined it, in fact, it was that big you could have used it as a canoe, so, no I didnt model it on Waynes, and, no rear ironing board, just the duck tail, a bit like the rear of my favourite car, the Ferrari 330 p4, just playing around with a bit of glassfibre, its magical what you can create when you put your mind to it.
