Not going the following year ! This is crazy , we had far better weather last year , it would be miserable waking up in a wet tent I know but I REALLY REALLY wannabe over there enjoying the sights sounds , meeting fellow petrolheads , drinking copious amounts of French wine , beer and just about anything else . So tell me whats the antidote ? How do I cope and I,ve got Radio LM and Motors TV on but it just makes we worse !!! HELP PLEASE !

Welcome to Team Stay-at-Home, Rob - the saddest bunch of losers on the planet. There's no escape, we just have to suffer...
I wanna be there too.... cry

Some of these LM threads have pretty much determined that next year I have to go.

The build up alone in the “stickered up car" post has already had me on the phone to people at home about how we can make it happen!

even the projector setup I've just put up in the garden is looking suspect due to the rain that's looming.

Two gazebo's, a BBQ, two patio heaters - Radio le mans playing, motors tv on the projector and it's still not the same...

I think we need a weekend LeMans party in future , somebody with a large garden , beer tent , get the other halves to dress as glam pr babes in skimpy clothing and we could even try and recreate the wet tents and dig latrines in the lawn for authenticity smile
