Forza 2 - Last night's racing incident

Hmmmm,

That looks like me (in the silver, slightly battered R34) on the racing line for the corner, with someone spearing up the inside on the grass and taking me out. It almost looks as if they swerved across me!

Any idea who it was?

Nice you didnt show before that Ian...

Prior to that, the silver R34 was on the grass (damn why didnt i save the replay! - though look at the damage, suggests an 'off') and was rejoining the circuit, hence why i took to the grass of the inside to get a shallow line.

the silver R34 got up to speed faster than expected, and still tried to hit the racing line, even though I was obviously going up the inside.

case closed as far as im concerned!

Looking there - my nose was infront (as i said, he came back on circuit - i gave him space) so Chocky should have seen me on the inside.
Then the second picture - my back end is lose - oh, as if SOMEBODY TAPPED IT eh chocky

Which would have speared the front of my car into yours...

As i said last night - you went off onto the grass, I took the inside to give you space and you came right back onto the racing line with less momentum.

Bear minimum racing incident... and if these posts continue im going to stop playing online - especially considering there were much worse offenders last night, yet its always me people bring up!!!

I was just unfortunate enough to be caught up in many of the scrapes although I do think I caused a huge accident when the golf went haywire and span out in front of Mini causing it to T-Bone me big style.....Sorry!

i think mine and fidgits' two sepreate accidendent need some sort of award... thanks to lag, fidg's car wiped me out, while he was on the other side of the track, while earlier my 'spinning wreck' totalled him.. funny, cos i'd never spun... shortly after that my xbox got very confused about overtaking the same car twice, and shut down...

There were accidental 'nudges' I'll have you know, and although I didnt mean them they worked a treat as they seemed to scrub off about 2/3mph of the car infront!

What was more hilarious is both our machines seemed to think we were in 2nd place... first with me coming steaming up behind you, managing to miss you completely and carry out without a scratch, while you had me hitting you and totalling us both...

then repeated later on with me (actually) in front, losing it and seeing you come up behind me, so i pulled onto the grass to let you passed (after hearing what had happened last time), then you vanished

I think a lot of problems last night can be put down to lag city...

If you didnt go off, how can you explain how quickly I caught you - since at the first bend you were no-where in sight, but by the time i'm at the top of the hill a few seconds later I'm right alongside you?

anyhoo... tis all in good fun and i might not be on anymore if MS ban me for the abusive message I sent Mekon when i saw this thread
