645i or 650i

looking for 6 series coupe to use as everyday car.is it worth seeking a 650 over 645...any noticable differences?

Yes 650i, better all round and there are some nice deals on them if you look, i was considering one for a while, lovely car

Ive had both starting with a coupe 645 and now with a 650 Convertible....Have to say the difference is negligible and both are fab to drive it all depends on how much you have to spend i suppose find the lowest mileage poss along with the service pack....you wont go wrong

I disagree.

A colleague has just traded a 630i for a 650i.

The performance is demonstrably better.

I've owned both and IMO the 630 feels more spritely but obviously the 650 is quicker high up the gearing!

will try both,,but feel 650 better value for money due to initially much higher price when new.

I bought a 645 coupe. Fancied a 650 but the price premium was pretty high that the 645 made more sense. If I was wanting a 650 I would buy new as the discounts are good. However, much better to spend low thirties on a 645.

One of my colleagues has a 630 and i'm driving it whilst my car is being sorted, before that they had a 645, the difference between the 645 and the 630 is HUGE, the v8 has so much more torque and is shed loads faster and an easier car to live with, the 630 is simply feels underpowered and if it was me, i'd regret not getting the better and larger model everytime I got in it

That is exactly what happened to my colleague.
He bought the 630i (ignoring what everone told him).
6 months later, traded it for a 650i due to the 630i being underpowered.

Fully understandable, I also notice on the 630i that the mpg is awful, i went to swindon and back on saturday last and it averaged 21.7 mpg with cruise set to 85mph, my M3 returns close on 29 at the same speed!
