I saw this and a similar one in silver at Gulfoss in Iceland. They appeared to be there for a photoshoot. They had arrived in enclosed trailers, were spotless, had a large entourage and were later parked together in a scenic (off road) spot at the edge of a gorge.

Are they examples of an updated model? I know nothing of 4x4s, but was curious as to what they were doing there.

Doesn't look much different. It was facelifted a while back so I can't see how it differs.

Cheers, thought as much - maybe a shoot for a 2008 brouchure or something.

Won't bother submitting it to Autocar as a 'spy shot' then. smile

They're just about to launch the 2008 MY with improved multi zone climate control. Perhaps it's something to do with that?

surely climate controls climate control?, the car either has it or it doesnt i would have thought(which in Range Rovers case they all do) but hardly a ground breaking feature though.

Also it doesn't appear to have the usual S\c exhausts, but has the grilles. May just be my crap monitor though.

So they have finally fitted the rest of the 7 series parts bin to it!

Maybe they're giving the V8 Diesel the supercharged front grille?

I was thinking advert/brouchure. They obviously went to a huge amount of trouble to get these two vehicles there in pristine condition.
