I am after a wiring diagram for my E30 M3 it concerns the fog light circuit (rear) so I think any model will suffice. I used to have them on a PDF but have lost them

My car failed its MOT on not having an indicator light for when the fogs are on, I does not have one as standard as it is an import.

I might be misunderstanding you, but there should be an indicator light next to the front fog light ilumumination on the bottom of the instrument display

Orange for rear, green for front IIRC

So could the dash illumination just be blown?

Easiest way would be to locate the wire that goes to the fog light using a voltmeter at the switch, then wire a small led to one of the spare blank plates led comes on when switch is pressed, very simple.

I might be teaching you to suck eggs, but deffinately no socket for a bulb telltale on the back of the dash pod?

Thats the plan, I just want to have a diagram to be sure.
