HELP THE OLD GIRL KEEPS CUTTING OUT !!!!

Hi guys! need your help...
Just returned from 6 weeks away and took the old girl out for a blast and have discovered to my horror that every time I come to a stop such as traffic lights or junction as soon as I take my foot off the gas she cuts out !!! Now, she seems to be idling fine so am not sure if it is the stepper any thoughts and pointers would be much appreciated !!

It's probably your handlebar moustache and white silk scarf getting caught in the controls, don't you know Old Boy!

Have you made sure the Chocks are Away?

Check that the air intake pipe hasn't fallen off at the airflow meter.

I had exactly these symptoms and it turned out the the pipe had "fallen off" during a service.

Hope yours is as simple to fix.

As above, but also these are classic dirty stepper motor symptoms.
For the five minutes it takes, pop it out and give it a good clean with carb cleaner (and the seat in the plenum). Be gentle tightening it though!
