Now I like my Monaro - in fact love it - but Jaguar had to come visit Orkney again and this time took an XKR with them. Tried to resist the urge mad but couldn't do it so took it for a wee spin yes I just wish I had the price of a small house spare to buy it. Slightly different league than the Monaro to say the least and it just makes me think more about getting proper suspension fitted. It just hugs the road at whatever speed you want nuts and never broke traction although when I took it home I thought there were a lot of tar spots on the rear. It was in fact rubber I gave it a quick clean for Jaguar as a thanks for letting me abuse it for 3 hours. They're still here tomorrow so if it stays dry I may return evil for another go

If you spent the same amount of money on your `ro` as you`d spend on the XKR the `ro` would most certainly be in a different league. And you wouldn`t keep on driving past other one`s.

Different kettle of fish. The Jag is a nicer place to be.
The Monaro/HSV is a rawer beast. Depends on what you want. I actually like the jags. XJR the favourite. Unlimited power on the GM's though. Supercharged 7.4L no problem 1000bhp with the Holden, the jag is reserved and civilized...
