Doesn't he get a Clud certificate? Or has the Clud been disbanded?

Is that a 70-200VR???

I got a D200 just under 2 of weeks ago, albeit with just a 18-70 for now, more to come in due course. I've just ticked over 1200 shots, in 12 days tongue out Absolutely loving it smile

Have fun,

Stigmundfreud, it was absolute torure having to wait for the camera and lenses to be delivered, all thos 'have I done the right thing' and 'She'll bloody kill me when she finds out' thoughts..... and then you get it all home, the wonderment as each piece is unpacked and you first fire it up! Then you realise you know sweet fanny adams about DSLRs, wow!!!

Using the Garden 'studio' these are two shots taken with the 70-300. I had to sharpen it in Picture Project as I seem to be slightly off with Auto-focus. Is it me moving the camera on pressing the button?

yella I feel your pain, specially with the financial controller. I sold my fireblade to buy my 5d and now I'm buying l series lenses its really hard to justify to myself let alone her! Though I see it as investing in my future and I'll keep convincing myself of that!

Nice kit - is that a Lowepro Slingshot in the background - if so which one - AW100, 200 or 300 - just interested to know if you can get most of your gear in it!

Can relate to kit excitement, bought two lenses myself last week, at the opposite end of the scale (and sorry, C***n not the Nikon Clud!) - a 50mm and the Sigma 10-20 - just want to go and play with them (much to disagreement from visiting family - oh well!)

Mike, I feel for you if the blade has to go, the surprising thing for me was that at the week-end she was suggesting I spend some money on getting the Tiv refurbished (new roof, carpets, seats etc) !!! Did that catch me by surprise until I realised that it was because I had mentioned getting a Griff, which she knows is much louder and FASTER!!!!!!!
Hmmmm.

I need a new strategy, like landscaping the garden etc to get me back on-side hehe

fran, its a 200AW and the D200 with the 17-55 mounted and the 70 -300 in a compartment all fits fine. There are then 3 other compartments plus pockets and a small top section for a waterproof etc. It also has it's own waterproof cover. It is just the right size for me and my limited kit.
