OK I'll try again - the last long post got lost due to an Aston Martin Flash advert complaining I didn't have proper Flash.

Is there any secret sauce for the URL that makes the forums easier for smartphone users? I use a Treo 680 but this is relevant to crackberrys and windoze mobile with keyboards.

Currently the nested replies cause a problem, the flash ads simply don't work on some browsers, and each page seems to use a lot of data (important when an 80MB plan costs another £45)

Is there any work planned to make the forums more mobile-friendly? I appreciate the current minimalist format, but there's definitely a market for those joining in on the train, etc. surely?

IIRC ted is in the process of implemeting crackberry and PDA support and it's due to be rolled out soon
