My aircon is making wierd noises in time
with engine revs. I thought it was the gearbox
at first but it stops when the aircon is off.
I know that the condensors can cause problems when
they get blocked with debris and then damp, but
mine look new and I always check to see that they
are clear after a drive. Any aircon specialists
in Surrey/Kent or can an indy sort this?

If it's making the noise in line with engine revs it's more likely to be the compressor than the condenser.

happened in my car because the condensors had rotted leading to most of the gas escaping causing the compressor to work overtime and hence extra noise. So might need new compressoes and a regas ..

Hi,
Speak to John Goggin @ Aircare Automotive Ltd 07836 557377.
based Elstead, Surrey.
My car had the same problem, shushing noise with aircon on.
Basically the gas has escaped from the system. The condensers are
a common problem, mine looked prefect, but you will be surprised at the
amount of rubbish that gets collected behind where you can't see, this leads
to the condensers rotting. John sorted mine... noise gone and ice cold air.
