Hose Question

Can someone remind me where the top water hose coming from the expansion tank is connected to. I know the bottom goes directly to the swan neck. Since dumping the plenum I now have a spare hose connection which I have considerde blanking off.

On my car it's T-ed into a connection from the top of the inlet manifold, IIRC. I'd have to go and look...

Since removing the plenum heater pipes I have blanked off the upper pipe on the expansion tank.
From expansion tank - very bottom pipe goes to rad - pipe half way up goes to header pipe - top pipe blanked off.

Thats a 1000 mile ago - all OK since then, sits in traffic at correct temp and uses zero water.

Thanks for that - good to know my theory was correct! I stood there trying to work out would happen if I blanked off the upper hose port as I couldn't remember where it went!!
