I know Audi (I think jokingly) were wanting the safety car to come out, however, with the overheating problems Peugeot were having, does anyone else reckon the team had a quiet word with the Clerk of the Course to put the safety cars out thus enabling the Peugeot to spend 20mins cooling off in the pits without loosing position?

This along with breaking the regulations about not hiding pit work behind curtains, bodywork, piles of tyres and people? I'm glad Peugeot didn't win if they feel the need to bend the regulations that everyone else abides by and I wouldn't be surprised if the ACO did them a few favours at the end.

I think the early SC period in the rain yesterday was a little contrived, but the last one today wasn't. Quite a few team managers (Hugh Chamberlain and Jack Leconte among them) went to the Clerk of the Course and asked for the SC as the conditions were so terrible.

Parking the car on the track for 3minutes whilst the race winning Audi came round was not clever either, but then again it was a Peugeot. Any other car would have been pushed off the track or even penalised over the 6minute max time for the final lap rule.

The French look after there own, in this instance it can be viewed badly but when you see they keep all the Immigrants out & those that get in dont get in undated with handouts its an attitude I admire
