Not the best judged comment ever, Mclaren obviously need to give him a few more media lessons!

Even though its old news i think he was showing his true colours there. I'm waiting for the "black" thing to start after seeing the rapper type in his enterage.

I disagree, calling someone a monkey isn't seriously meant as a put-down, its just a jokey term that loads of younger people use. If he'd said something more relevent to driving quickly such as "slowcoaches" or "snails" then maybe you could argue that he chose his term specifically to put other drivers down, but I dont think that was the case here.

Who was that clown?

Not really the sort of image he needs really.

I thought it was ill judged and arrogant at the time and was surprised the media didn't seize upon it. Uncalled for and I hope not a taste of things to come.

Ill judged yep, but I think it can be put it down to inexperience though rather than arrogance or anything intentionally derogatory.

What a load of crap rolleyes

His remark was referring to how he was happy to have qualified on the front (at Monaco!!) so he would not be part of the inevitable melee at the first bend; have you seen Sato or Ralf Schumacher's starts?!

And Pharell has blatantly just jumped on the bandwagon. The Brundell interview was hilarious - neither seemed to know what the other was talking about!
