I’ve been test driving a few T350 lately, the cars have been 05 models and I don’t know if it’s me or the cars, but they don’t seem that fast. I used to have a 02 Tamora with a CR Box and that really did fly, shockingly fast in a straight line. The Tamora was the first really fast car I’d owned, so maybe that’s got something to do with it, I’m use to more power these day, but still, I thought the 05 engines didn’t seem that strong on the 2 cars I had chance to drive.

Are the newer engines more reliable, but slower?

To quote you

"If the 350, so great on the track, how come it's so shite on the road?

All bouncy at the merest hint of a mid corner bump, fast track times don't convert into a quick road car with TVR's

To reiterate, All TVR's a shite"

So why on earth would you be remotely interested in a T350

Er the car you drove didnt have a CR box on it?

Diff ratio?
Exhaust set up?
State of tune of the engine?

I can think of several reasons!

Don't be so touchy guys.

I’m a notorious Bull$hiter at the best of times, if you can't differentiate between a bit of a laugh and serious comment you'll be forever in conflict with someone on PH.

DJC, Of course I've taken CR box into Consideration, one car had CR box the other didn't, but it seemed more like the engine was weaker to me.

Is the 05 engine weaker or is just down to TVR production differences for each car?

Come on guys don't spit the dummy outsmile

If test drive then additional weight of passenger? 70kg is over 5% off the power to weight ratio?

Maybe your early car was especially good - perhaps you can buy it back? wink

You must be joking, it was a right old nail.

Thanks Max, must be just the differences in production
